PRAYER TO OUR LADY FOR THE  OFFERING  OF THE PRECIOUSE BLOOD



Regina Rose Mystica, mater ecclesiae, holy and immaculate virgin, and Mother of God, Mary, offer up thy divine Son covered with wounds and blood, and his precious blood to the heavenly Father: for the greater glory and worship of his divine majesty, in thanks giving in all graces and benefits received, in expiation and satisfaction for my sins and those of the whole world,

For the conversion of sinners and pagans,

For my own conversion and improvement,

To ward off serious sin this day (night),

To keep alive our holy faith in our country,

For the return and preservation of young people in faith and in Christian behavior,

For the salvation of the dying,

For the Holy Father, bishops and priests,

For the intentions of the holy church

For all who suffer persecution for the faith,

For myself; for an increase of faith, hope and charity,

For an increase of grace and the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit

For an increase of humility, patience and submission to the Holy will of God,

To obtain for myself, for my relatives and benefactors and for all who die today, a happy death,

To help and console all the distressed, suffering and innocent tormented people on earth,

For the consoling and deliverance of the poor souls in purgatory,

For the greater joy for all angels and saints.

Praised be the precious blood of Jesus now and for all eternity!

Queen of the universe and our dear mother, in thee and through thee we praise the marvelous mystery of the blood of Jesus, the mighty power of reconciliation. In the radiant glory of the Immaculate Conception, thou hast cooperated in the splendid victory of the blood of our redemption. With Jesus the redeemer, thou has become co-redeemer and mother of all mankind. In the triumph of thy spotless heart thou wert chosen by God as the mediator of all graces.


O Mary, in thy sublime and powerful position, we grant thee as Lady and Queen of the Precious Blood. Sprinkle our soul with this glorious and fertilizing blood, so that we may overcome all the onslaughts of

The Catholic Church celebrates today the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary on its traditional fixed date of September 8, nine months after the December 8 celebration of her Immaculate Conception as the child of Saints Joachim and Anne.
