MARY MOTHER OF GOD O Virgin, your glory transcends all created things. what, in effect, compares to your nobility, O Mother of God the WORD? To what in all creation will I compare you? Angels of God and archangels are sablime, but how much you transcends them, O Mary! Angels and Archangels in trembling serve Him who lives within your womb, and venture not to speak; you on the contrary, speak freely with him!
Prayer to the Holy Family Lord Jesus Christ, who, being made subject to Mary and Joseph, didst consecrate domestic life by Thine ineffable virtues; grant that we, with the assistance of both, may be taught by the example of Thy holy Family and may attain to its everlasting fellowship. Who lives and reign, world without end. Amen.
The Spirit spreads its wings over the Virgin's womb, and SHE conceived and gave birth, and became a virgin mother with much solitude. She was with Child, and without pain a Son was born.. a model birth, She possessed him with strength, loved him in safety, guarded him with gentleness and displayed him in grandeur. Alleluia
My soul glorifies the LORD my spirit rejoices in God my savior. He looks on his servant in her nothingness; hence all ages will call me blessed. The almighty works marvels in me. Holy his name! His mercy is from age to age on those who fear him. He puts forth His arm in strength and scatters the proud hearted. He cast the mighty from their thrones and raises the lowly. He fills the starving with good things, sends the rich away empty He protects Israel his servant, remembering His mercy the mercy promised to our fathers, for Abraham and His sons for ever.
